Torbay Harbour Authority and Beaches are transitioning to a cashless service across all offices, quaysides, and beaches. This will cover, among other things, visitor charges, launch and recovery, electric, and short-term beach hut hires.
This change will apply from Monday 14th April. Our goal is to streamline operations, improve the safety of our staff and the service efficiency.
On the 1st January 2026, the British Sub Aqua Club will be hosting their traditional annual harbour dive within Torquay Harbour, for British Sub Aqua Club members only.
During the event period, mariners are requested to:
Navigate with particular caution in the vicinity of Beacon Quay/Haldon Pier
Proceed at minimum safe speed
Maintain a good lookout for persons in the water/surface marker buoys
Comply with any instructions given by Harbour Authority personnel or event marshals
Temporary localised restrictions or controls may be implemented if required in the interests of safety.
