Two day regatta for Dinghies and Junior Dinghies incorporating the Albacore Southern Area Championships. Launching from Torquay Harbour with approx. 40 boats and n6 races over the two days.

Regatta Rowing events for the West of England Amateur Rowing Association Championships. This event is only open to West of England Amateur Rowing Association and British Rowing member clubs. The event will consist of approximately 28 races over a distance of 1000m starting at 09:00 and finishing at around 14:00 with a race every 8 minutes. Boats and trailers will be parked along the promenade and then taken to the beach for boating. A broadcasting system will be used for commentary of the races during the afternoon.

63rd running of the world famous Cowes-Torquay powerboat race. Boats will start from Cowes at approx. 09:00 (TBC), with calm sea conditions the faster boats will arrive in Torquay around 10:00. The boats to tie up on Haldon Pier until restart at approx. 13:00 (TBC).

The start of the above annual race takes place from Brixham Yacht Club’s Battery Point start line and finishes at Dartmouth. This race precedes the four day Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. Brixham Yacht Club provide a Nationally Accredited Race Officer to manage the start. Approximately 50 yachts take part divided into up to three classes starting at 5 minute intervals commencing at 1400 on Tuesday 27th August. Yachts will sail directly from the start to Berry Head.

National Level stand up paddle board event over two days involving a range of on water races, activities and demonstrations. Races include sprint, technical and distance, all age categories. Activities include multi team SUP polo competition. Demonstrations of SUP short sprints, freestyle and SUP tug of war.

6K and 4K Coastal Rowing race from Haldon Pier to Corbyn head along the beach to the Promenade, parallel to Princess Pier then back to Haldon Pier. Two circuits for 6K and one circuit for the 4K.
