Cashless Service

Torbay Harbour Authority and Beaches are transitioning to a cashless service across all offices, quaysides, and beaches. This will cover, among other things, visitor charges, launch and recovery, electric, and short-term beach hut hires.

This change will apply from Monday 14th April. Our goal is to streamline operations, improve the safety of our staff and the service efficiency.

Thank you for your understanding.

Paignton Port Navigation Mark extinguished until 16th October 2025

From 13 October 2025 until 16 October 2025

Mariners are advised that due to essential maintenance the Port Navigational mark Q.R.7m3M situated at the entrance to Paignton Harbour (50°25’57.42N, 003°33’20.69W) will be extinguished/removed to allow for the replacement of supporting post. There will be no visible navigation light in place until the Thursday 16th October 2025 when this will be reinstated.

Though the Harbour and the North Quay is well lit during the hours of darkness, mariners are advised to take greater care when approaching or leaving the Harbour entrance.
