Cashless Service

Torbay Harbour Authority and Beaches are transitioning to a cashless service across all offices, quaysides, and beaches. This will cover, among other things, visitor charges, launch and recovery, electric, and short-term beach hut hires.

This change will apply from Monday 14^th April. Our goal is to streamline operations, improve the safety of our staff and the service efficiency.

Environmental Surveys off Torre Abbey Sands and Elberry Cove

From 02 December 2024 until 03 December 2024

Mariners are advised that between Monday 2^nd December 2024 and Tuesday 3^rd December 2024 environmental surveys will take place off Torre Abbey Sands and Elberry Cove within Tor Bay. Works will be carried out by the vessel “MV Flatholm”. Mariners are requested to maintain a good lookout when transiting in the Bay and to pass this vessel wide and slow when seen working in the areas on the charts below.

Site 1 is between Livermead Sands and Torre Abbey Sands, Torquay
