The British Powerboat Racing Club will hold the world-renowned Cowes-Torquay-Cowes Powerboat Race within Tor Bay waters on Sunday 30th August 2026. Competing vessels will depart Cowes at 10:00, with the lead boat expected to arrive in Torquay at approximately 11:00, closely followed by the main fleet.
Following completion of the first leg, competing vessels will berth within Torquay Harbour to refuel and prepare for the return passage. Competitors will subsequently depart harbour limits to muster for the return leg, with the race restart scheduled for 13:00.

Mariners are advised to anticipate increased vessel activity throughout the day and to exercise caution when navigating in the vicinity of race craft, support vessels, harbour patrol vessels, and spectator craft.
The International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGs) apply at all times.
