Tor Bay Harbour

Mariners are advised that, as part of Dartmouth Royal Regatta Sailing Week, on the 26^th August 2026 the Royal Dart Yacht Club (RDYC) & Brixham Yacht Club will be conducting a Passage Race open to sailing vessels of less than 20 metres in length.

The race will commence in the vicinity of Battery Point, utilising the Brixham Yacht Club Start Mark. Competitors will then proceed under sail across Tor Bay and along the South Devon coast to the finishing line located off Blackstone Point at the entrance to the River Dart.

Mariners navigating in the vicinity are requested to:

• Keep well clear of the racing fleet and participating vessels.
• Proceed with caution when transiting nearby waters.
• Maintain an appropriate lookout at all times.
• Minimise wash in the vicinity of racing craft and support vessels.

All vessels are reminded that the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGs) will apply at all times during this event.
