The British Long Distance Swimming Association will be conducting a coastal swim on Saturday 11th July 2026 from Meadfoot Beach to Fishcombe Cove and return.
Swimmers will cross the bay accompanied by a number of safety vessels. Mariners are requested to exercise extra vigilance within the area and reduce speed when passing in order to minimise wash.

Mariners are advised to keep well clear of the event and to reduce speed when passing. The International Regulations for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea (COLREGs) will apply at all times throughout the event.
