EXERCISE MINE SHAPE TARGET LAY - NOTICE TO FISHERMEN

From 01 July 2026 until 05 August 2026

The Royal Navy will be conducting Exercise Mine Shape Target Lay in support of MCM Exercise SEABREEZE.

 

Exercise Dates:
26 June – 5 Aug 2026

Daily Activity: 0800 – 1900 hours

 

Details:

 

Safety Notice:
Due to the weight of the moored contact targets (308 kg), there is a risk to life for single-manned vessels under 10 metres if trawled. Fishermen are strongly advised to exercise caution in the area.
