Cashless Service

Torbay Harbour Authority and Beaches are transitioning to a cashless service across all offices, quaysides, and beaches. This will cover, among other things, visitor charges, launch and recovery, electric, and short-term beach hut hires.

This change will apply from Monday 14th April. Our goal is to streamline operations, improve the safety of our staff and the service efficiency.

Survey Work - Lyme Bay

From 03 July 2025 until 31 July 2025

Survey Vessel Explorer will be conducting operations in Lyme Bay between the dates of the 3rd to the 31st July 2025, this will concentrate on costal areas of Exmouth, Teignmouth and Tor Bay North of Hope’s Nose.

The vessel will be restricted in its ability to manoeuvre whilst conducting survey lines denoted on the attached plan, Explorer will be monitoring local VHF Channels 14 in Torbay and Channel 12 Teignmouth and Exmouth areas. 

Vessels are requested to provide a wide berth and are reminded that the International Regulations for Prevention of Collisions at Sea will apply at all times during this event.
