Cashless Service

Torbay Harbour Authority and Beaches are transitioning to a cashless service across all offices, quaysides, and beaches. This will cover, among other things, visitor charges, launch and recovery, electric, and short-term beach hut hires.

This change will apply from Monday 14th April. Our goal is to streamline operations, improve the safety of our staff and the service efficiency.

Paignton 5.9 Hurricane National Championship

From 18 July 2025 until 20 July 2025

Paignton Sailing Club will be conducting racing during the dates of the 18th to 20th July 2025. This is a 5.9 SX Hurricane event for twin handed multihull sailing dinghy operating from the south end of Paignton Beach and Harbour and racing in the area off Paignton and Goodrington Sands.

Mariners are advised to keep well clear of the racing fleet and are reminded that the International Regulations for Prevention of Collisions at Sea will apply at all times during this event.
