Tor Bay Harbour

Notice is hereby given that an Offshore Powerboat Racing event organised by the Offshore Circuit Racing Drivers Association (OCRDA) will take place in Tor Bay, centred off Torquay Harbour, between Saturday 2^nd May and Sunday 3rd May 2026.

Event Activity

Multiple races will occur throughout each day involving high-speed powerboats and jet skis.

Location

• A marked racecourse will be established in Tor Bay off Torquay Harbour, comprising a series of laid racing marks (buoys).
• The course will be clearly defined by coloured racing marks
• Safety boats and race control craft will be in attendance
• A schematic of the course is provided

Navigational Information

• Mariners are advised to avoid the race area during published race times
• No unauthorised vessels are permitted within the race course
• All vessels must comply with instructions given by:
  • Harbour Authority
  • Race Officials
  • Safety Boats
• Speed limits remain in force outside the designated race area

Harbour Operations

Harbour users should expect delays in use of the slipway during launching periods:

• Saturday
  • Launching: 08:00 – 10:30
• Sunday
  • Launching: 10:00 – 13:00
