Tor Bay Harbour and Beach & Coastline offices remain closed except for Torquay Harbour office which is now open between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm. We are still offering the usual range of services, albeit at reduced capacity; in particular our phone lines are extremely busy. Please instead use one of  the following methods to answer your query to help keep the lines clear for urgent operational communications.

 

Bridge and cill requests

Predicted opening times are published on our website at https://www.tor-bay-harbour.co.uk/our-harbours/torquay/bridge-and-cill/ . All requests should be via VHF channel 14 only. Phone calls are being answered by home-workers who cannot operate the bridge or cill.

 

Payments

Payments will not be taken over the phone. To pay an invoice by credit or debit card, harbour customers should visit the website www.tor-bay-harbour.co.uk and click on the payments online page https://forms.torbay.gov.uk/Harbour/Payments.

Beach & coastline customers can pay at https://www.torbay.gov.uk/  and click on the payments page https://www.civicaepay.co.uk/Torbay/Webpay_Public/Webpay/Default.aspx?fund=03

Alternatively cash or cheque payments can be made at the post office using the bar code on the invoice.

 

Waiting lists and availability of facilities

Those seeking to be placed on a mooring waiting list can do so online at https://www.tor-bay-harbour.co.uk/moorings/

You can check the availability of a facility by visiting the Tor Bay Harbour website www.tor-bay-harbour.co.uk and clicking on the moorings page.

Office appointments

Appointment requests can be made by email harbour.authority@torbay.gov.uk . Walk-in enquirers cannot be accepted at present at Brixham and Paignton Harbour offices as the doors remain closed

 

2 Meter distancing guidance

Please do not contact us about other members of the public not following the two meter distancing guidelines, we do not have control over this and rely on all members of the public to be responsible for their own health and safety. If you do not feel safe due to lack of social distancing then you are advised to remove yourself from the situation.

The financial impact of coronavirus

We recognise the financial impact that Coronavirus is having across the UK, and our admin team will be able to help you with any concerns you have about your Harbour or Beach facility invoice.

The annual facility charge will still remain payable from the 1 April 2020 with no reduction in charges, however, we want to support you as best as we can with measures in place for those who may be struggling to pay.
