During the current covid restrictions all of our harbour offices will be closed to the public until further notice. However staff can be contacted using the details on our contact page and operational staff will be on site. If you need assistance from operational staff or electric cards please call and we will arrange for a member of staff to meet you at the harbour. The Torquay Inner Dock bridge and cill will be manned and operated as normal along with VHF monitoring from both Torquay and Brixham. We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause.
We have received further guidance from the Department for Transport highlighting how the lockdown restrictions affect the marine industry:
At present our phone lines are extremely busy, please instead use one of the following methods to answer your query to help keep the lines clear for urgent operational communications.
Predicted opening times are published on the bridge and cill page. All requests should be via VHF channel 14 only. Phone calls are being answered by home-workers who cannot operate the bridge or cill.
Payments will not be taken over the phone. To pay an invoice by credit or debit card, harbour customers should make payments online.
Beach and coastline customers can also pay online via this online payment page.
Alternatively, cash or cheque payments can be made at the post office using the bar code on the invoice.
You can check the availability of a facility or apply for a place on the mooring waiting list on the moorings page.
Please do not contact us to find out what position you are on the waitlist at this current time.
Please do not contact us about other members of the public not following the two meter distancing guidelines, we do not have control over this and rely on all members of the public to be responsible for their own health and safety. If you do not feel safe due to lack of social distancing then you are advised to remove yourself from the situation.
