Check Point

Check Point is an information and advice drop-in centre for 11- 22 year olds (up to their 22nd birthday) in need of assistance and advice.
All young people are invited to access the services directly if they feel Check Point can be of assistance.
Counselling service also provided at Check Point every day Monday to Friday and at Old Farm GP Practice, Foxhole Road, Paignton Wednesdays 3.00 - 4.30 pm, although appointments are offered at other times.

Our Aim

To promote and safeguard the well-being of children and young people aged up to 22 who need help and support with housing, health, relationships, drug and alcohol use and those who have run away from home or who have been forced to leave home.

How can I be involved?

The views of young people are sought through ongoing research and evaluation. As part of The Children's Society we have a well developed complaints policy. Young people are invited to give more immediate feedback via a short questionnaire.
Check Point is a registered charity - Reg No: 221124
