Armada Park

Armada Park was created as part of the development of Chelston after the war, and a new open space was provided on high ground near Nut Bush Lane.
Armada Park was opened officially in September 1956 and to celebrate the opening a football match was played there.
In recent years some of the management of this land has been taken over by the Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust and the grass cutting is timed to favour the growth of wild flowers.
