Car Park Charges
Torbay has a range of car parks where various lengths of stay are available. Please ensure you check which type of car park you are parked in before leaving your vehicle.
- Shoppers Car Park Maximum stay 75 mins
- Short Stay Maximum stay 3 hrs
- Long Stay Maximum stay 24 hrs
Daytime Charges
- Up to 30 mins 60p
- Up to 75 mins £1.20
- Up to 2 hrs £1.80
- Up to 2 hrs 30 mins £2.40
- Up to 3 hrs £3.00
- Up to 3 hrs 30 mins £3.50
- Up to 4 hrs £4.00
- Up to 4 hrs 30 mins £4.50
- Up to 5 hrs £5.00
- Over 5 hrs and up to 24 hrs £7.00
Please note tickets are transferable to all Torbay Council Long Stay car parks. However this does not apply to Winter Tariff car parks.
50p Promotional Tickets
Available1 November 2008 until 28 February 2009 - 50p fixed charge. Ticket must be purchased during the valid hours of 3 pm to 6 pm. Daytime Charges apply at all other times.
*Please note this 50p ticket is not applicable in car parks which operate the Winter Tariff
Night Time Charges
Available from 7pm - 7am - Pay a £1.60 fixed charge which is valid until 10 am the following day.
Winter Parking Charges Tariff

- Up to 30 mins 60p
- Over 30 mins and up to 24 hrs £1.20
Winter parking charges are applicable in the following car parks:
- Torquay - Kilmorie and Walls Hill
- Paignton - Broadsands
- Brixham - Breakwater and Shoalstone
Free parking on Sundays
- Levels 1 and 1A Lower Union Lane multi-storey car park, Torquay
- An area at the northern end of the upper level of The Harbour car park, Torquay
- Station Lane car park, Paignton
- Brixham Central car park (Town Square section), Brixham
Commercial Vehicle Charges
- Up to 1 hr £1.50
- Up to 3 hrs £5.20
- Up to 4 hrs £6.60
- Over 4 hrs and up to 24 hrs £9.50
Coaches receive an additional one hour free of charge to the time purchased.
