Our objective is to maintain and improve accessibility for all sectors of the population, to provide a clean, safe and attractive street environment for both local people and visitors alike.

These services are linked to four of the Councils Executive Themes as identified in the document Transforming Torbay:-

• Creating opportunities for jobs and improving how we work as a Council.
• Protecting and enhancing Torbay's environment.

• Widening peoples opportunities for learning throughout life.

The Service also as a significant contribution towards the Councils main priorities of:-
