School Travel

It is estimated that 17.5% of morning peak traffic is generated by school travel in term time.

It is important to teach children about road safety. Torbay Council can provide free information and training to staff, parent and most importantly, pupils. For more information, contact the Torbay Council Road Safety Officer on (01803) 207677.

Parents can also encourage schools to help tackle congestion and safety issues by undertaking travel plans.
