Children's Rights Torbay

'We believe all children and young people should be listened to and have their views and feelings respected'

A Service provided by the Children's Society, advocating for Children Looked After. Opening times are: Monday to Friday 10am - 1pm and 2pm - 4.30pm

What do we do?

  • Youth Advocacy Service - Provides a trained advocate who helps young people aged 8 - 17 years have their say at important meetings, even if they choose not to attend.
  • Independent Visitors Scheme - Provides a trained volunteer to visit, support and befriend young people, aged 8 - 17 years, who are in the care of Torbay Children's Services and who have little or no contact with their parent or a person who acts as their parent.
