The Beach Code

• Take litter home with you or put it in a bin
• Do not bring glass on to the beach, it can be dangerous
• For health's sake no dogs on beaches where they are banned
• Keep dogs under control elsewhere and clear up after them
• Do not vandalise the telephones - your family's life could depend on it
• Do not take inflatable dinghies or toys into the sea
• Heed the warning signs and flags about the state of tides and safety
• Do not light fires or use barbecues unless given permission
• For other people's comfort - no loud music
• If you use a powered boat do not discharge diesel or other fuels in to the water.
• Never refuel on the beach .
• Please launch and land at authorised sites only.
