Creative Torbay Directory

The Creative Torbay team is in the process of updating the arts directory and turning it into an arts and creative industries directory.

If you could complete our short questionnaire  we will include your details. As soon as we are in a position to go online with the website we will be back in touch to send out a sample page so you can include images from your portfolio.

In the past the directory has been paper based, the new version will be electronic and be linked into the wonderful Torbay Creative website that is under construction. A few of the many advantages of the web directory for you will be:

• The ability to display your work
• Space for a narrative description or exhibition details
• Clients will be able to contact you via the site
• Signpost visitors to your own site
• Update your details on a regular basis

The website won’t just include this directory. Visitors will find information on all things creative in the Bay including:

• Creative Space Agency where you will be able to advertise or source space in which to work or exhibit, rehearse or perform.
• Creative Academy, which will act as an interface between the industry and education; helping to find work placements for young people interested in a career in the arts, graduates looking for placements and information about the annual creative careers fair.
• Creative Forum which will act as a meeting place for creative’s to debate, meet and share experiences and good practice.

The website aims to strategically develop and connect the creative sector by developing a brand and a website that promotes Torbay’s rich creativity, creative industries, artistic activity and culture.
