Arts Strategy & Creative Industries Research

Arts Strategy

The Arts Strategy is jointly funded by Torbay Council and Arts Council England (South West).  The final version of the strategy is now available to download below.

Although the consultation process in terms of putting this together is now complete, we are always happy to hear feedback. Please send your comments to the Arts Development Officer.

Creative Industries Research

Over 22,000 people work in creative industries across Devon and Torbay, and this number is set to rise in the coming years. The creative industries sector is not just a key player in our overall quality of life - it also promotes the image of Devon nationally and internationally. And it is making a significant contribution to our local economy.

Torbay Council, Devon County Council and Arts Council England (South West) have commissioned some research to improve our common understanding of the current state of the creative industries in Devon and Torbay.
