The final version of the Learning Disability Commissioning Strategy 2009-2014 is in the related documents section at the bottom of the page- including an Easy Read version with pictures. This strategy sets out how we will develop services for people with a learning disability.
Torbay has developed a new approach to help people move on from Supporting People services and access appropriate accommodation. Lack of people moving on can block up services meaning less vacancies for others who need them. The Policy For Strategic Move On is in the related documents section at the bottom of the page.

- Learning disability
- Physical disability, sensory disability, acquired brain injury and long term conditions
- Children, young people and families
- Homelessness, criminal justice and substance misuse

The Communication and Involvement Strategy lays out how Torbay Supporting People Team will communicate with and involve service users, service providers and all those with an interest in the Supporting People programme.
