Our role is to encourage and guide development that will help make Torbay a place where people want to live, work and visit and where businesses choose to invest.

Building Control This service ensures building work complies with the Building Regulations to enable is to live, work and play in a safe and healthy built environment.	Conservation Conservation Areas are "areas of special architectural or historic interest, the character or appearance of which it is desirable to preserve or enhance".
Planning Alerts Get notification of new planning applications and planning decisions for any ward in Torbay directly to your email address.	Planning Portal Your one-stop shop for Planning and Building Services online, including regulations and online applications.
