The Street Wardens Schemes are managed by the Environmental Protection Section of Torbay Council. Steering Groups have been set up locally; they bring together the local police, housing associations, Neighbourhood Watch and representatives from the local community. In some areas there groups have been amalgamated with already successful ward partnership meetings. The groups aim to identify local priorities for the Street Wardens to concentrate on.
