To all students who currently apply to torbay council for their student finance .

All Local Authorities have been obliged to transfer their Student Finance responsibility to Student Finance England (SFE) in Darlington.  Torbay Council will therefore be closing their Student Finance Section at Oldway on 21 March 2011.  All students currently receiving their support from Torbay Council will have their records transferred to SFE with effect from this date.

Students can apply online for finance for 2011/12 on the Student Finance England  website with effect from 14 February 2011.
