Tormohun Community Partnership

This Community Partnership provides an opportunity for the local people who live or work in the central area of Torquay, in Torre, Upton and Hele to discuss issues of common concern. The Partnership provides an opportunity for local people to understand and influence the way in which services are provided in their area.
This Community Partnership is made up of the following ward:
  • Tormohun
At the recent Tormohun Community Partnership AGM a decision was made by public vote to divide the partnership into three areas. This is in order to better serve the community within the ward of Tormohun and its diverse needs. In the near future residents and business owners in these areas, will form three new community partnerships and each will hold an AGM to elect a steering group. The three new partnerships will be:
  • Hele and Barton
  • Torre and Upton
  • Torquay Town Centre (South of Torre and Upton through to the Harbour)
The exact boundaries of each partnership will be decided once the steering groups are set up. The current steering group was voted back in to facilitate the division.
