Performance Overview and Monitoring

Torbay produces various reports on Performance Management. The current approach to performance management ensures we are reducing duplication and taking a more efficient approach to reporting.
Torbay has recently designed and produced a quarterly report to capture all performance related issues into one document, The Performance Overview and Monitoring Report. This report is used to report to Commissiong Officer Group (COG), Joint Executive Team (JET) and is in the public domain for scrutiny.  This report will look at all performance indicators, projects and risks in the Strategic Scorecard, which splits the entities by the strategic objectives for the year.
The new approach to managing performance, including through these reports, can be expected to have an impact on overall performance in the current financial year particularly through the revised indicators (including proxy indicators where appropriate) which will focus more directly and with increased frequency on the Council’s priorities and improved target setting.
