Brixham Town Council
New Civic Award
Know of an unsung hero? Nominate them for the new Civic Award introduced by Brixham Town Council. The first Civic Award, to be presented this May at the Annual Parish Meeting, is for any person who has furthered the welfare and / or improved the quality of life of Brixham people. The individual nominated for this award need not live in Brixham as long as the activity has benefited the residents of Brixham.
If you or your organisation knows of an individual whom you would wish to nominate, you must be able to demonstrate what contribution the person has made to the people of Brixham.
Forms are available from the Town Council office in Brixham Town Hall or you can download the form below.
The forms must be completed by both a Proposer and a Seconder and be returned to Ki Barnes, Town Clerk by Friday 26th March 2010. The nominations will then be considered by a panel before the winner is announced.
The Town Council
The first meeting of Brixham Parish Council was held on 17 May 2007. At this meeting members agreed, pursuant to Section 245(6) of the Local Government Act 1972, that the Parish Council would be renamed Brixham Town Council.

Brixham Town Council's Town Clerk is Mrs Ki Barnes. Ki's office is at Brixham Town Hall (old CAB office) and she can be contacted on 01803 859678.
